Tristan was sat at the table with a pile of what looked like slop in front of him. It was supposed to be meatloaf or at least that's what Tristan thought. He just got finished flirting with some girl who termed off and left him. Tristan scratched his head only to feel the beanie there. Tristan had noticed his hair would probably fall out soon. So he decided to wear it.
"Fine be like that." Tristan said. He rolled his eyes and went back to listening to music. He was singing the song now. It was song me song men by set it off which was Tristan's favorite artist.

Fan fiction- a bad, bad habit Teagan picked up far before she'd ever stepped foot into the hospital. She must've been thirteen, at least, when she read her first fan written story, and had been addicted since. Sometimes she'd forget about it, stick to obsessing over boys or songs, but today her interest had been sparked after an episode of Supernatural. She knew the fandom was something else, a wonderfully odd thing, but she hadn't ever dove too deep into any of the stories. Needless to say, she'd checked out a short one shot on Wattpad and instantly regretted it. Castiel and Sam in bed with Dean hiding in the shadows watching, not what she expected when clicking the book with the very misleading title. Was not something she had expected and definitely not what she was looking for, and she was honestly scarred for life.
Eyes wide, she let Todd lead her down to the cafeteria, where she got a tray simply stacked with a bottle of water and an apple. The food here had taken a sudden turn down- different chefs this week. Settling on having just a small meal, Teagan pranced to a table with a familiar face, her baggy black sweats and lazy gray shirt swinging with each step. Her mind burned, the image of Cas between- no, she wouldn't think about that anymore. Lesson learned: read the description before diving in.
Setting her tray down gently on the table, she crawled into the seat and nudged the boy with her foot, teasingly singing, "Don't be falling in love as she was walking away."

Tristan pulled out his headphones and looked up to see Teagan. He grinned at her. "Teagan, so nice of you to join me and you're not reading a book for once," Tristan teased. He looked at his food. "I think their trying to poison me," Tristan whispered.
"This is like the big brother sloop. It's very nasty," Tristan said. Tristan would talk and talk if you let him. Tristan loved to talk just as much as he liked other things.

"Oh, I'm done with books for the moment," she crinkled up her nose at the thought of the fanfiction again. It had left her in a fit of giggles and gags after reading it, disturbed but clearly entertained by what went on in the mess of words. Shaking her head, Teagan's ever present smile fell right back into place as she set her elbows on the table and settled her chin in her open palms.
"Poison you?" Teagan let a silent gasp meet her lips, eyes wide and lips in a thick circle, "Oh no, they're onto us. We have to take them down." She had no idea what she was going on about, but it was an effort to tease him back. Suddenly, a wave of hysterical disbelief crossed her face as she arched a brow and smirked, "You watch Big Brother?" Teagan didn't exactly keep up with the show nowadays, but she used to be invested. She'd catch an episode now and then when she could, but she was all too familiar with the venomous food they tried to feed the contestants.
The hospital mush really wasn't much different.

" Yeah. It's nit as good as it was but eh big brother is still one of my favorites, " Tristan said with a smile. "Why do you watch it?" Tristan asked. He began to move his got around in whatever mush was on his plate. He decided he wasn't going to eat it. It didn't look very good so his desire to eat it disappeared. He'd probably have his mom pick him up some food since Tristan couldn't drive. Stupid brain tumors ruining everything.

"I used too," she replied with a shrug, gaze falling to her tray with the bare minimum of food, "Now I'll catch bits and pieces, just too busy to keep up with all the drama." Eyes raising to brush over Tristan only to catch a look of disgust mess his features. Clearly he was displeased by the food, or whatever it was. Really, it didn't even look edible and they expect this give nourishment to patients who need it?
As if.
"You want some of my apple?" Teagan asked lightly, smiling as always. She was tempted to call Todd over and ask if he could get them decent food, but she couldn't be bothered. Instead, she sat, head shifting in her hands as she questioned, "How do you feel?" Honestly, she was referring to his balls more than his brain, taking a knee to those things must have left a sting of pain.
But she was a girl, what did she know about that?

"My balls or my head?" Tristan asked with a laugh. He shook his head,"my mom is coming by later. Ill just ask her to buy me food. Do you want any I can smuggle you some food. I don't mind," Tristan said with a grin.
"Okay so you girls. Y'all are really confusing." Tristan had some gossip to share with Teagen. It wasn't gossip if it was coming from him and he was the subject right? Tristan didn't really know. "Or maybe I'm confusing...or maybe both," Tristan said just going on and on right now. He took a drink of his soda so he would shut up.

A finger pointing downwards at his crotch answered her for where his voice failed. Honestly, she was still trying to get over a boy like him watching Big Brother. Cocking her head, Teagan eyed him up, thinking his offer over. "If you can risk it," she teased, it seemed to be that was the only thing she could do around him that other people didn't take well, "Chik-fil-a would be amazing." Sending him a playful wink as if they were making a deal, she giggled softly and arched her brow at the boy.
"Probably both, what's up?" Curiosity got the best of her, body leaning forward in anticipation.

" I will risk it for you," Tristan said with a smirk. He loved hanging out with Teagan she was the only one who could joke around.
Tristan began thinking about how he was gonna say something over. "I was we'll.." Tristan took a moment to think to himself. "We'll I kinda might like Clara," Tristan said. He didn't know how to explain to Teagan all that happened. So much had happened in a night. "And I don't know If she likes me cause like something happened last night..." Tristan trailed off awkwardly.

"Awe," Teagan dragged out the ending a bit, pressing the tips of her fingers against her chest as if she was touched by the words- which she was. It wasn't like they'd get in trouble, but it was still sweet of him to do. A smile heavy on her lips, she lounged back in the seat, sleeves covering her hands as she held them up to her mouth as he spoke again.
Wow, that was the last thing she was expecting. The sheer shock of it sent an anxious chuckle racing off her lips before she released her was dead serious. Oh. "Well," she glanced down at the table, placing her palms against the edge of the wood as she dared to peek up at him, "She does have a tendency to bring you to your knees." She was referring to him getting kicked in the balls, but fell stern with her next words, "What happened last night?"
Teagan was beyond intrigued.

"Well, " Tristan began. He looked at Teagan and shrugged. "I was trying to help her feel better. Because like Alec just died and came back to life and everyone knows that isn't good. Anyway so I guess we just kept talking. Then we ended up watching a movie. And well I had just had chemo...and so I was tired and she was tired... And we fell asleep. That's it though all we did was sleep," Tristan said quietly.

Her attention was far more than captured. Tristan had a tight grip on her heart, the suspension in each word as he drew out the point tore at the strings keeping it in place. Teagan wasn't one to dish out gossip, but boy did she listen to every word anyone ever said. She preferred knowing rather than spilling, and that's why it was dangerous to make her mad. She was the secret keeper, it'd be best to not loosen her lips. Though, that rarely happened, and she could overall be trusted with anything. So as he spoke, she absorbed every thing being said. Really, it was a shock. Clara and Tristan? Weird.
Biting her lip tentatively, she fiddled with her own words before saying, "I'm sorry about Alec. I would say he'd be okay, but," there was no point in lying to someone about health when they were going through the same thing. Then it hit, "Chemo?" She couldn't stop the words on her lips, "Is it really that bad?" She couldn't lose him, not now. Shaking her head, she derailed her concern and tried to not think about it. "Anyways, at least you two didn't do anything, right? I'd suggest just talking to her, about how you feel, or just in general. Earn her trust, because it doesn't seem you have it yet." God, she hoped her words helped somewhat.
