First of all, welcome to The Inpatient Society RP! We're glad to have you here. In this thread, you will find any and all information that you may need to start rping here. If you do not find the answers that you are looking for in this message, feel free to message an Admin, ask in the questions forum, or ask in the shoutbox.
Creating your character
Step One: Read The Rules. The very first thing that you should do after registering is read the rules of this board. Most of them are fairly self-explanatory, but they are important nonetheless. It may seem boring, but it's better to have read the rules and know to follow them than to accidentally break them later. The board rules can be found HERE.
Step Two: Come up with your character. TISRP features characters with many different kinds of disorders and diseases. These illnesses can be real or imaginary, but they must have realistic characteristics. Characters do not have to be patients though. They can be relatives, doctors, nurses, counselors, volunteers, or just merely citizens of Crystal Bay. It is a good idea to have an idea of your character's background and personality before RPing them.
Step Three: Character Application. The next thing that you must do is fill out a character application. The link to the application template can be found in the sidebar. There are two sections of the app, and both must be at least 500 words. Post your app in the Completed Application section when it is completed.
Step Four: Claims. Once your character is accepted, you must fill out your claims in the claims section.
Step Five: RPing. Now that you've created your character, you are ready to start RPing. Have fun!
