Aiden nodded. "That sounds like fun," he said with a smirk. He stood up, glancing at the front desk to make sure no one was paying attention, then he just walked out of the front door. He looked back at Bailey and laughed. "That was way too easy," he said with a shrug. He hadn't actually thought about trying to escape, and he was surprised that the thought hadn't occurred to him until just then. If he got a new I.D. and moved far away, what would they do to him?

She knew this was an awful idea; that something would certainly go awry or get weird. She needed air in her face. After weighing the pros and cons, she went for it.
Bailey followed him out with her tupperware container in hand. She counted out the money. Thirty-seven dollars and seventy cents, plus a phone number and two Canadian pennies. "First rule of sneaking out: move away from the door!" She pushed her hands into the flat of his back, urging him down the street.
She sniffed the brisk winter air, too into being back in the open to remember to drop her hands from his back. She was glad she decided to wear shoes for once.
Earth to Bailey! I should totally drop my hands now. But she was too busy thinking about it, so that gave her another few seconds with her hands on him. She was slow with reactions. Must be her medications.

Aiden laughed a little, but let Bailey lead him away from the door. When she let her hands linger, he turned to face her, standing closer than one might normally stand to someone that they only considered a friend. "You alright, there?" he asked with a smirk and a wink. He was a good deal taller than her, so he had to look down at her. The mixed signals he was getting from her were starting to get on his nerves, but he'd deal with her for the time being. After all, it wasn't like he had a line of girls waiting to get with him. At least not for the time being anyways.

Bailey felt him stir and jerked out of her daze. "Yah, sorry. Sometimes my mind works real slowly when I'm on medication. I kinda' forget what I'm doing." She admitted, forcing a smile up at him. She didn't want this to turn bad. Kissing was bad. Looking was bad. There was no room for attachment.
Especially with a boy like him.

Aiden smirked. "I get that. They've put be on these antidepressants and I feel like a fucking sloth half of the time," he said. Aiden hated the medications that they kept putting him on. They didn't "fix" anything, but in Aiden's opinion there was nothing to fix. Everyone kept telling him that there was nothing that could be done to fix his condition, but for some reason they all kept trying. It was the most ridiculous thing Aiden had ever seen. But he put up with it. After all, there was no getting out if you didn't follow the rules.
"What if we just ran away now?" Aiden said, more trying to make conversation that anything. If he wasn't cleared by the hospital, there was a chance of him getting arrested for more things than he could count. He couldn't technically get in any trouble for what had happened with his teacher, but they had caught him on a bunch of other things that they said he could get out of as long as he was treated for his disorder and cleared by a psychologist. So if Aiden left and then was caught, he'd be completely screwed. But the idea of starting over was nice, in theory.

Bailey pushed into his arm gently as he mentioned anti-depressants. "Oh, just wait until you get the good stuff. Anti-psychotics so strong you can barely come up with words, much less function." She smirked up at him. She wandered alongside him, waiting for him to pick a place to go.
Her ears tuned in suddenly: what if we just ran away now? It wasn't possible. They'd be dead or caught in days. "I wish. Are you saying you wanna run away with me? That could be arranged." It was a joke unless he wanted to take it seriously. He'd just weigh me down. Probs get us caught. Does he even know what he's asking?

Aiden's shoulders raised in a shrug. "Not really. I mean, that sounds like a lovely experience, but I really just want to start over. Not that starting over really matters. I'd just end up the same place I am now, I guess." There was no changing Aiden. He would never become a better person, no matter how many times he told anyone he would. But if he made it look like he was trying, people would take him more seriously. That was an advantage for him.

Bailey didn't know how to respond to this. She didn't know too much about sociopaths. "You can start over. Just do it. Run." She sighed loudly. Where were they even going at this point? "C'mon, c'mon. Let's go to the mall, since we're close by anyway." She quickened her pace, then burst into a jog. "Catch me or trip trying!" She called after him. She was tired of walking and talking, so she ran. He thinks you're crazy anyway. Might as well use it as an advantage.

Aiden just shrugged. No one really understood how his mind worked, and he'd decided that it was useless trying to explain it to anyone. Besides, he didn't have any chance to even try to explain himself because Bailey was already running up ahead of him. Of course, he caught up with her quickly since he had a big advantage when it came to speed.
When he caught up with her, he had an impulse that he couldn't stop. To be fair, he could never stop any of his impulses. He stepped in front of her, held his hands out in front of himself to stop her from running right into him, and then, when she was safely secured in his arms, he cupped her face and kissed her. It was a passionate kiss, well, as passionate as Aiden could get. True passion was an emotion that he lacked, but he had learned to mimic it to the best of his abilities. He pulled away after a moment or two in order to gauge Bailey's reaction, his blue eyes staring down at her curiously.

She couldn't run well in her chunky heeled boots. She couldn't really run well in general either. But the wind rustling her loose pieces of hair and slapping her skin with refreshing cool was worth it. An obstacle stepped in front of her, and she was almost sure it wasn't real until arms steadied her.
What the fu-
Bailey's thoughts were erased. She was a blank slate as a pair of lips settled on her's. Her instincts told her to leave, but her feet remained rooted to the spot. She tensed for a split second, then relaxed, moving her mouth against his at the last second. But it was over before she'd been able to react.
No. No, nope. This is off limits. I can't do this.
"Aiden, I can't sleep with you. I can't-" She cringed cluelessly, "I can't get too close, even if that just means sleepin' with you." She felt like she wasn't making sense now. He couldn't feel anything more than lust, could he? Can he even feel lust? Is he just lost?
"Who are you?" She finished unceremoniously.
She figured they were meant to go back to kissing. Or they had been until she spoke up. She stood on her toes and pressed a kiss against one side of his mouth. It was in his hands whether to deepen it or not. A few kisses couldn't hurt.
Aiden couldn't say that he was surprised by Bailey's reaction. Then again, she could have reacted a million different ways and Aiden wouldn't have been surprised. But her question caught him off-guard. Why did she want to know who he was? More importantly, who was he? Even he had forgotten the answer at this point. "I-" he was going to try to explain, but he realized that if he told the truth that it would make him lose his last hope at maybe getting in Bailey's pants. In reality, that was all he actually wanted. But did she really want him to be honest? He didn't know. If he lied, and she called him out on it, then he was screwed. But if he told the truth, then there was the chance that she would never speak to him again. God, life was so much easier when no one knew about his so called disorder.
"That depends," he said. "Do you want me to be honest or do you want me to tell you the same shit I tell every other girl that I want to sleep with?" Aiden decided that he was probably better off being completely straightforward with Bailey from this point on. At least as much as he could. She was honest with him about herself, and he felt like he could tell her the truth about himself without her deciding to hate him, so it was a good deal, right? Hopefully.

Bailey wasn't sure how he would treat he after this. Maybe she'd get somewhere with him. Maybe he wouldn't try to charm her and just be blatantly honest. He offered her two objectives, but she was sure he knew her answer before she even spoke. "Completely honest - no bs."
She looked at him and had an itch to take him off guard and kiss him. That's stupid. It's just me wanting to do something reckless. I mean, he's reckless in general, but still.

Aiden sighed, trying to put the words together in his head before he spoke, but they were still a big mess. After he'd been silent for long enough to make it slightly awkward, he just went with what he had. "I have no idea," he said. "I'm whoever everyone else wants me to be. I don't have a personality. At least, that's what the doctors say. They say that the only person I can care about is myself. I try to disagree with them, but they're right. I don't give a fuck about anything or anyone except me and my desires, and I don't want to." Aiden had stepped away from Bailey a little by now, taking his hands and wrapping them around each other.
"But I can make you believe otherwise. I can make you think that I want to love you or even that I do. I can make you think that I'm everything you've ever wanted in a man. I can make myself into this perfect person, but in reality all I'm ever going to do is hurt you. But most girls don't care. They want me to hurt them. And then when I beg for their forgiveness, they'll jump right back into bed with me like nothing ever happened. I'm a horrible person, but I don't care. Because I can't care. About anything." Aiden finally looked Bailey in the eye, curious about what she was thinking at this point. "Happy?" he asked.

I can't say I'm surprised by the personality thing. Weird as fuck. Bailey nodded along to his words, eyes full of thought and wonder as he went on. And that's when it hit, the brutal honesty. He really didn't care. Bailey pulled on his hand, trying to force his fingers apart.
"You have a personality. You're sarcastic and bold. And you obviously care enough to be honest, considering you probs just lost possible sex. But really, I like you a little more...as much as I can like people." Bailey pulled on his hand again, trying to force his fingers apart. "Consider yourself lucky 'round me, Aiden. I chew up weak-minded boys and spit them out. Their problem for thinking they can get with me. At least you can avoid hurt."
She pulled him down the street, walking backward without a single glance behind her. Now they knew more about each other. The ice between them had melted.

Aiden chuckled a little. "Not sure how lucky I'm feeling at the moment," he said, but he just followed her down the street with a smile on his face. This was all part of his game, it always was. Bailey liked him more now which meant there was still a chance if he played his cards right. Not to mention the fact that he was out of the hell hole called a hospital, and he was going to enjoy that whether Bailey wanted him to or not.
"So what's your story, huh?" Aiden said, walking beside Bailey now. "I feel like it's an interesting one." Aiden liked stories, and Bailey seemed like the kind of girl who was full of them.
